No! It takes more time to explain it than to do it: sooner or later I'll do a guide with pictures, but not now.could you write me step-by-step instructions???
do I have to turn over crankshaft by some degrees and check every valve gradually, or just check all valves at once??
(dont remember this very well, last time I was checking valves it was some skoda motor 15 yrs ago)
only think I know I'll need 0.45mm shim and some tools
Shimming isn't a difficult job, but it is tricky to explain. You just have to be very methodical. The shims take the place of the the old screw and nut type adjusters -- they're a bit lighter and a bit more rigid.
I'm not sure exactly what the orange thing does! Most of my motors don't have them, so it can't do much.![]()
