Regrettably for sale is the misses fiat UNO ie turbo, *used everyday for the last 7 years, (owned 11), for work and pleasure!! *So very reliable, it had too be!!
Only failed her 3 times in that time, 1 fuel pump, *2 clutch slave cylinder,*
3 wire on the coil where someone had wired a cutout switch in, this car has wanted for nothing! *
I am a panel beater/painter by trade and purchased 2 UNO turbo's from friends, this one in very good condition, just stored for 3 years until I prized it from him, the other was in a bad way but had a freshly built engine and lots of good parts. *So I bought them both, good idea if you are to keep a rare car as this as no hunting/searching, paying extortionate prices, the parts are not too*Far away in the loft

I always promised myself one of these great little cars after working for fiat dc cook
In the early ninetys, where they were highly regarded ESP by the mechanics
Who were always flying about in them, and the head mech (Italian) who owned a brand new red one,*
I couldn't afford one at the time but I would have one!
I had an ingenious plan I would reinstate/refurbish my friends that were doing nothing, they agreed in the end, but regretted it,*
Then present it to the wife as an Xmas present, 2 birds with 1 stone ha ha

Car is now for sale only due to the wife being made redundant after working for Moben for 13 years and received a handsome payout,
But she now works further away and may I say it needs a little more comfort! So new car purchased*
If I had anywhere to store it would be staying, ie granny's unused garage but I havn't also my car collection is at max after purchasing my other dream car
A lancia delta hf integrale, currently receiving too much care and attention
And a bit more, *anyway enough of the storytelling

Fiat UNO ie turbo, *1993. *1400 injection, *130 bhp, standard boost 0.6, this car has always run standard boost and never had a bleed valve fitted!!!
83000 miles, *3-5 k per year, loads of history, mots, receipts, mot till June/July I will check, taxed,*
Serviced twice a year regardless summer and winter, checked over every week
*NewTiming belt, tensioner, 2 rear calipers and compensator, spark plugs, oil and filter fitted last week , £490 with receipt. * *last month fitted 2 new outer and inner constant velocity and driveshaft rubber boots, 2 second hand vgc koni front adjustable shocks, 2 new 195/45/15 front tyres, previous to that replaced all the rear nitrile fuel hose from the tank and fuel pump, brand new battery 4 year warranty, fuel tank replaced a while back but still looks as new now no longer available, wax oiled by me inside underneath in all cavitys, doors, sills, all voids, *everywhere,*

Only known faults are ns shocker spring makes a small creek on full turn
N/s passenger door electric window switch works intermittently, still operated from the drivers switch,*
2 surface scabs on the drivers door, just a scab nothing more
Couple of minor sainsburys dings on passenger door, slight flake of paint on rear where body kit was bonded to the car and in the hot sun has lifted the paint, not serious not rust!!! * n/s Door mirror needs repainting, * No other damage, all gaps/panels are straight
What welding does it need you ask!, *does it smoke!! Engine gearbox noisy
Has it had loads of welding, reshelled, previous accident repaired, crashed,*
NO! NO! NO! *When I recommissioned her I had to do a small repair to the passenger floor where the seat bolts, and rear wheel arch repaired, 2 new fiat genuine front wings, not through rust but dents, cheaper to replace than repair with my discount and no filler, *this being a late mk2 benefits with being part galvanised body shell/parts, *all work done 7 years ago so what you see now is what you know you've got, *not some freshly painted rotbox*who knows what's lurking beneath,
no hidden surprises in a months time!!
If I was keeping her I was going to remove the rear plastic arch trims and sideskirts and fix the couple of scabs and small dents on the door, paint the 2 doors and quarter panels, very easy and and be worth a whole lot more, I have absolutely no spare time these days so someone will get a bargain rare car
That is appreciating in value every month, *ESP with the spares package I am including in the sale,

Absolutely mint 56k engine spare, tested by myself removed and wrapped in a quilt, turned over by hand twice a year, oil in piston cylinders
Gearbox untested but friend says no problems,*
Cv joints, *driveshafts, calipers/carriers with hubs, *2 ecu's, * 2 airflow meters tested, coil tested, Inlet manifold with injectors/loom/sensors, radiator and fan, all oil and water pipes, oil cooler, 2 tubs of nuts/bolts/sensors/relays, all glass, door windows side windows, central door locking motors, rear screen, interior plastics, 2 turbos in need of refurb, manifold, lock set steering column, rear c tec mintex rear pads, ect ect, * infact a whole car minus the seats dash and rear axle!! *Everything you will ever need to keep her going for years and years!!

Modifications which are easily removed include,*
Front and rear omp yellow strut braces, good mod, quality tailgate spoiler, new roof ariel.
Lancia delta hf front calipers and carriers, larger discs, no fade! Same as punto gt
Aftermarket 5 spoke wheels, 195/45/15 tyres new fronts good life on rears
Mongoose performance full stainless lifetime exhaust, great sound not to boomy, rare and expensive. *Remodelled front grill but i have the original if that's your taste
Koni front adjustable shocks with spax adjustable rears, vgc unknown springs
Sport air filter with extra cooling, radiator moved 3 inch across to provide more airflow into engine compartment, lightened and balanced flywheel/competition clutch
Alpine head unit, alpine/pioneer speakers, switch on column for radiator fan, althought rarely used, usefull on really hot days in endless traffic,*
B&M quality quick shift gear lever, with group n rose jointed gear selector link rods, ( no sloppy stirring a coal bucket *with this car).*
Scum used to steal these cars by bending the door frame and pulling the door pins or screw driving the door locks, so *I removed the locks and fitted painted blanks, removed the door pins and replaced with flashing led's. *Like Porsche and Audi, all controlled by cat 1 alarm very well hidden,*
I think that's it!! * so if you want to be one of the last owners of an UNO turbo on the road, * this is the one for you, *
( most are being restored, garaged) only 250 probably left in uk*
Howmanyleft.com.*
I am also a member on various fiat clubs,

To help you with others to keep these great little cars on the road,
