Ok this is what i need help with. Could someone out there with Bluetooth fitted in their multipla or a Technical person who knows please do me a huge favour.
I need the wiring info from the back of that unit shown so i can install one of these units onto my dashboard and get bluetooth working, it should be relatively straight forward and i would be eternally gratefull.
Failing that, if someone has access to a wiring diagram i will of course cross their palms with silver.

Thanks

Hi fella.

Right, just levered my Blutooth switches out of the dash.

The wiring disappears into the dash and must go somewhere!

I've always assumed that they go through the radio 'loom.'

Behind the green phone switch is a white multiplug with a blue/yellow wire, a green wire and a black wire. On the multiplug on the back of the radio there are wires of the same colours BUT I can't see an obvious link to the switch.

Behind the red phone switch is a brown/black multiplug and the wires there are blue/yellow, red/yellow and black. I could see the blue/yellow on the radio multiplug but not the red/yellow. I'm not saying it isn't there, but the multiplug is very crowded.

Having just read this post it seems I have been of little or no help!

I have always assumed that this very simplebut effective Blutooth operated through the radio 'loom', for want of a better word. Perhaps it does join with another multiplug further up but I can't trace it beyond where it disappears into the dash.

Sorry to be of so little help, mate. Have you tried searching the 'blu and me' forum here?

You have been very helpfull, when you get a mo would it be too checky for me to ask if you could take a snapshot please. I think you're right the loom goes of to the radio and that is basically it, the radio is used as the main interface.
Once again thanks very much

Umberto

Can anyone help. When i speak through my Multi Bluetooth the recipient always says there is an annoying buzz sounding like the engine is accelerating. Is this some type of suppressor problem or has something been disturbed when my Fiat dealer changed the radio under warranty. Apparently the Bluetooth aint covered after the first two years and i am coming to the end of year three. Cheers.

Hi mate. Normally I'd be more than willing to take a photo for you but when I did the original 'levering' one of the clip things started to crack so I am reluctant to pop it out again. Apologies. (And believe me, you can't see anything at all anyway. It literally disappears under the dash, up and left.)

How are you getting on with this incidentally?

Slowly, i have spoken to a really helpfull bloke at Thames fiat (Slough) and he pointed out to me that behind the center console on the floor(Big Plastic Panel) the Bluetooth control if fitted, should be there. I have of course looked into this and i do have some sort of control panel but nobody on this forum seems to know what it is.
It will get to the bottom of this!!

Ok mate, keep up the good work. Myrtle came from Slough actually, good bunch down there. Have you looked on Eper at all? Wonder if that might help?

Where are you based? Are we near enough to liaise to compare dashboards etc?
