i've got a 1.6 hlx bravo and i've been thinking about turbo-ing it, is this simple enough to do and where would i go about getting the parts? or am i wasting my time? cheers
but at the same time...ur turbo will need to sit behind the engine ad thats there the manifold is...so might not be space...still could be worth it though.
ull need ot work ou what sort of compression the standard jit could take and have custom pistin, rods cranks, flywheel, gearbox and also see if the actuall shell could take it
the 1.6 runs 10.15:1 CR so might take a 6psi setup ok i know the hgt runs 10:1 and is ok with 8psi so id say go for it mate choose your turbo very carefully and be warey of things like oil feeds etc and where to place them on your engine.
