Technical 1.6 gearbox again

Hi, this tread relates to austin09's 1.6 gearbox problem. I have had the diff case welded and located a diff carrier complete with planet gears. I now find that the counter shaft teeth have damage. I have the box partially dismantled but can't see how to get the counter shaft out without stripping the whole box down. Anybody have any experience on this? Thanks ken/austin
