Another quick question, what sort of performance do you get from the 1.4 16v engines? And what does it do to the insurance?

Do you know a rough 0-60 time?
I won't be able to afford the swap for a while insurance is enough as it is at the moment, I'll have to do quotes to see what age I could insure it as I'm under 21.

Just ran some quotes, no results until I'm 21 then it's 800, so I'll have to wait until then! I've got some time to plan at least!
Howd you run quotes to include the mods required?

Added them in the does the car have modifications section, it's not 100% accurate as I could only declare a non standard engine had been fitted, I'll give more detail when the time comes for a propper quote. It obviously did something as it was uninsurable up to 21.

0-60 is gearing really. and i cant say insurance wise it will be expensive and it does depend on your area.
start it now, it will take you longer than you expect
. And you could sort the whole car out!Ming
