1.4 Injectors

Ok, i know this has been posted before but the search function is not really the easiest to find anything (maybe this could be upgraded as well)

Ok, leaving a party the other day and driving along, car is no problem then injector light appears, car still felt fine no sluggishness or nothing got home no problem.

Next morning get up, start the car no injector light at all, for at least 3hrs that i was driving, car still performed as usual.

Today drive car to work, no injector light. Lunchtime take car to change a tyre and light appears and this time, car felt sluggish.

Is the only way to fix this, to strip injector out and replace ??

Best bet is to go to Fiat, if the light is on constantly its usually an electrical fault.

At the moment it seems to be more affected by the cold whether. When i went out at lunch time, it came on after about 5mins but once i had stopped the car after 20mins and restarted immediately no light appeared.

Can the weather do this ?

What was the temp guage doing?

Ok, on the Sat night temp guage just sat right at the bottom.

Today, temp gauge was normal, ie start at the bottom and then slowly built up, got to about 3/4's between bottom and halfway

Could be your stat is shot and its running on choke all the time.
