1.4 Gearbox Help

Hi guys. New to the site.

I hope somebody can help me.

I have a 1.4 12v Bravo. The gearbox is on it's last legs and I need to drop a replacement in.

I can't find the same car in a scrapyard locally and was wondering if the gearbox from a Punto or any other Fiat or Alfa would do the job?

The car is a Bravo 1.4 12v SX on a 97 R plate. Manual.

no 1.4 in your local scrapyards?? last time i was in my local scrappy there were about 3 1.4s! have you tried ebay?
