This is not listed as a service item in the handbook but its pretty obvious this will clog up at some point. On the diesel engine installation work I have done before the intervals have been 600-1200hrs which taking an optimistic 40mph average speed brings me to about 48000miles which is our cars next service.
Does anyone have a service interval for these?
It is a black canister sat at the rear of the engine near the EGR valve.
I'm not into over servicing like some 'enthusiasts' so dont want to be replacing it massively early as it could be expensive from Fiat and if it is needed only every 72000 etc... I will believe the OEM service intervals and the money can be better spent on putting diesel into the tank.
