Technical 1.2 fiat 500 speedo trip computer display issue

Hi all!
Just noticed when using the trip computer "menu" buttons my display appears to have lost the "lights function" so i can not turn my day running lights on and off! has anyone else experienced or heard of this happening and what the cause/cure might be?.

It's not in the trip computer menu, accessed with the button on the end of the wiper stalk. it's found in the menu accessed through the buttons next to the speedo. "DAY LIGHTS" is the last setting before "EXIT MENU" scrolling down .

Hi yes thats what i meant however the daylights function has vanished" used to be between "exit menu"& passenger air bag" not coming up any more regardless of if you go up or down through the menu stages!.

Disconnect the battery, have a coffee and re connect might be worth a try?
Are the drls on or off at mo?

Disconnecting does nothing! nothing on multi e c u scan either!, thankfully they are on so no issue with mot!- just bugs me that the function has just been lost for some reason! no doubt another phantom speedo issue such as the common warning light problems etc!.
I prefered it when cars just had a fuse box and a carburetor! you know!.

I can appreciate that sentiment - my last car still had a choke knob! Played around with my car's menu and even read the manual tonight, all to no avail. Mine doesn't have a passenger airbag function but I don't think it ever did.

Unfortunately mine DID have a drl light function!- but its gone south for the winter i guess!
blinking hate electrics they are invisible and can hurt you and your wallet at the same time!
