nice mate, i miss my mk2b 5 door
gunna look into getting a set of those wipers for my mk2
nice looking car. for me, if you plan on keeping it looking standard, but want to improve it still, find a nice set of sporting alloys, colour code the mirrors and door handles, and for a little personal touch, fit a badgeless grille on the front, makes the front look so much better without making it look like a "modified" car.
insurance shouldnt really be affected that much if u got sporting alloys as they are oem "extras" call the insurer before hand but most insurers are normally reasonable with simple stuff like that.
a quick call to the insurer before u start saving wont cost anything (or very little if u pay for the calls). least u will know where u stand.
i like people who have pride in there motors and dont need masive mods. lol but yeah your car looks super clean, id defo get sporting alloys colour code and maby even just a 20mm drop would make it sit alot nicer but to the naked eye not look modded
20mm wouldnt make much difference to how to car drives or comfort, would just inprove the look of the alloys when you get them. i get what your saying tho, nothing wrong with staying stock.
tidy looking five door
just dont let the mod bug catch you
