Hi all
Can anyone tell me how to check the oil level on my 2007 Bravo gearbox. To me it sounds a bit whiny when traveling at higher speeds so want to make sure there's oil in it.
Many thanks in advance.....

Hi, and welcome to FF,

there is normally ( most FIATS) an allen-key driven plug, half-way up the forward facing edge of the gearbox ( under battery tray),
with the car relatively level , unscrew the plug,
and use the allen key ( carefully) as a "dipstick",

pass the key into the hole so the cranked bit is below the level of the threaded hole,
take it back out.. there should be oil on the end of the allen key,
if you can't see the level - it's best to top up with a syringe into the same hole.., again with the gearbox relatively level, until oil dribbles out of the hole,
Charlie
