i wouldn't consider a cbr600 all that hardcore.
unless of course, if you compare it to my cbf600, running about 5 or 5 seconds 0-60 time i'd imagine. i wouldn't even know HOW to time a bike myself.
Anyway, didn't mean to sound all preachy, i remember my younger years as if it were only a few years ago (it was) and remember being a bit dafter behind the wheel, and being interested in such daft things. lol. I dont mean to judge, even if i inadvertently opened a can of worms.

Well I'd love to say 0-60's don't interest me either.
I'm a more 30-70 kinda lad
I've had all kinds of cars/ vans/ tractors.... lol and the 0-60 is usefull when judguing overtaking and pulling out from a side road.
Now answer this....
Isn't it better for a person to understand just how fast their car "can" pick up if they are planning to drive on the road.
I drive a Bravo that will accelerate very quickly... and YES I have tried it and it will go quicker than I would ever want to.
Now all that power is pointless for me, as I drive to MPG not MPH..... BUT it's nice to know if I ever need to have a quick blast of power I know just wots going to happen.
I'm sure if Rach had never twisted the accelerator at least once or twice for FUN when she would have to due to an inconsiderate road user the shock of 0-60 in 3.1secs would cause her to maybe have her own accident?!?!?!?!?! maybe - not a bike rider.
Anyways.... DON'T speed on the public highways please.... go find a nice bit of duel carridgeway with a P and when it's empty give it a go then!!

It's only got 1 or 2 mods.
the main one being the 20v Turbo from a coupe!!
Thats the 1 and only vid i've ever taken, as it needs both hands and A LOT of concentration to do a 0-60.
30-100 is a lot easier as it's just 1 gear.... 3rd!!!
It's not as quick now tho, as i've taken the boost right down in an attempt to get a few more MPG's......
