My Connect/Nav+ has decided that it is going to ignore all my requests to play CDs on my multi-changer. What's more it is also refusing to eject the discs already in the changer.

In the end I had to pull the fuse out for the stereo and once everything fired up I quickly pressed each of the eject buttons to get it to spit the discs out. I had to do this twice before the changer did strange things and flashed all of its lights.

Any ideas, although I suspect that it is dead?

Is the audio covered in the 3 year warranty? I guess it will have been a dealer fit so know doubt they'll start complaining if they have to change it.

To answer my own question, because the CD changer is classed as an add on accessory it is only covered by the standard manufacturers 12 month warranty. If it had been the main dash mounted CD unit that had failed then it would have been covered. Good eh?

It's definately knackered. It will load a disc but then just click and whirr when it tries to read the disc. I suspect that the laser pick up is out of alignment, so hopefully it won't be an expensive job (famous last words).

This sounds similar to my problem, although the player is ok until I try to eject a disc. The disc ejects but the current playback stops and the display on the head unit says 'CDC Scan'. ~All the lights on the changer flash and I can't eject another disc, or put a new one in until I turn off the ignition and restart.

I'm waiting to hear back from my dealer regarding what is going to happen about it.
