So I have followed Deckchairs excellent guide (thanks) to removing pollen filter as my air con hasn't been so good recently. I have never had the pollen filter changed since owning the car (3 years - ooops). Anyway have removed filter ready to buy new one (maybee) but though id give the fans/aircon ago without filter and it is 1000 times better!!!!

Will I damage fan/air con system running it without a pollen filter?? as it is going to be hottest day of the year (and for 100 years) tomorrow, dont want to be without it for too long??????

Also I have vacuumed and washed (warm water) the pollen filter. Anyone know if this will be effective or just ruin it???
