So...all Im after is some centre caps for my stilo schumacher alloys!
Shouldnt be a problem...or so I thought!

After a few weeks of countless emails and phone calls to dealers and fiat it seems that the only way to get hold of a new set of centre caps for my schumi multispokes is to buy 4 new alloys that come with the caps. Apparently there is no Fiat part number for these caps and noone at fiat thinks this is a problem. Madness!

I've had to put in a complaint in the hope that that makes someone at fiat get off their ass and sort this out.

Prodrive supply the performance kit for the schumacher including the OZ alloys and after talking to them, they tell me that they supply them as individual parts and gave me their part number. However they wont sell direct to me. I gave this part number to fiat who told me this is for the complete alloy wheel kit. ie: £<700 per wheel!:bang:

Okay...rant over! just thought id share my latest story with you all.

Needless to say...there were nearly a few Schumachers at Stanford missing their centre caps! I wouldnt really....

haha. yeah i parked next to one for a quick get away but couldnt bring myself to do it. Noone should have to go thought this for some simple bits of plastic.

you could just get some through O.Z seeing as there oz alloys and then get a fiat wheel sticker through ebay

OZ will be supplying them anyway, call their spares department. If you phone central sales you can get out through anyway.

They're 3k worth of wheels I mean yeah they look nice but 3k is just crazy!

just had fiat head office on the phone appologising. They are now issuing a new part number to all dealers so they will be available by next week. Will let you know the part number when I get it.

Cant believe its taken this long for someone to realise there is a problem.

bet its still a silly price though a lot less than 3k

18" with tyres £1100 - see if they can get hold of centre caps, or see if you can get centre caps that will fit ie coupe ones and stick Abarth stickers on.

Quick update. Just got a call saying the centre caps have now finally been ordered. Took a few more calls to head office to get them to release the new part number to the dealer.

Part number is: 4600 3099 (individual schumacher multispoke centre caps)
Price is: £8.50 ex VAT (not as bad as I thought it would be)

Still surprised noone else has tried to order these centre caps before.

If there is such a thing as a locking nut for a center cap may I suggest you get them fitted. You wouldn't want to go through this lot again.

The saga is now over!
I have just recieved my new centre caps! Finally!!

As you can see by the date on my first thead, its taken long enough.

I got them through Research garage as they seem to get a good rep on the forum, and to be fair to them, they did chase fiat head office and came through in the end.
