I own Stilo for a while, and from the beginning I've had a lot of problem with it. Said many times I will sell him, but I wasn't able to do it, because I was in love with my car
. Finally, I've decided to make this Stilo great again!
It's kinda in bad shape at the moment, but this time we are going till the end, till the perfection!
So guys, I will need a lot of help from you, in order to make this project successful.
Tomorrow, I will post pictures of him in this thread, and in few months, we will see how big progress we made together.
So, it's Stilo 1.6 16v (3-door) with 103hp. I have also LPG. In last few months, I've had a problem with my throttle (common problem with Stilo 1.6). It's kinda sooo laggy on throttle, sometimes I can feel delay from pushing throttle until engine revs by almost 2 seconds. I've found workaround by turning off engine, and starting it again for few times. Today after a loooong period of time, car was just insane on power, but tonight again, he lost that power and he is unable to go over 3k RPM, while throttle is insanely laggy.
Okay then, my plan is to strip down everything and to check every sensor for the beginning. List of sensors known to me is consisted of: MAP, crankshaft sensor, throttle position sensor and whole throttle body (which is maybe problematic also).
Tomorrow I will change my sparks. I will buy NGK BKR5EZ as car manual said. There is no need to rush, even with buying new sparks, so I will wait for your advice first, guys.
