My old seat-belt buckle is becoming slightly moody.. it looks like there's a random piece of metal in there that doesn't always retract when I push the seat belt clip into it.

Assuming I can't solve the problem with a bit of grease and that I'll have to swap the buckle.... are all Stilo buckles the same? Mine has the seat occupant detector wiring in it.

I'm guessing that left and right are interchangeable too.

I have the same problem with our 500 Lounge. The seat belt only clips in when I depress the red button. Once in it locks ok, and releases fine. Not sure if this is an MOt failure so I've bought a second hand clip off Ebay (£20) which has the occupancy wiring. This weekend I will either swap the clip or use the purchased clip to repair our existing.

The battery will need disconnecting for an hour or so to ensure there is no activity within the system for an airbag activation. I just have a feeling it wont be straight forward.

Mine sorted itself out somehow (gave it a squirt with some WD40 seemed to help)... but it'll be interesting how you get on.
