I have a 2.4 abarth is the seatbelt warning light meant to work with both front seats or just the drivers. Thanks

The wiring diagram shows wiring to, and switches in, both front seat belt tulips.

There will be a thin black twin cable going to the tulips if switches are fitted. My 2003 JTD MW has both.

Guess mines had it then, only drivers one works in mine. Will this be a not fail?

Thinking about it.... to have a warning for the passenger seatbelt, there would have to be some way of telling the system that there was someone in the passenger seat. Otherwise you'd have to have the belt clipped in permanently. On early cars, that could be done by the OCS (Occupant Classifcation Sensor) fitted in the passenger seat. Later cars didn't have the OCS, so perhaps they didn't have the passenger seatbelt warning either.

I don't have a warning light if the passenger unbuckles, but I do get the amber child seat warning light flashing when something heavy is on the seat, the car detects it.

Also, I have no beeping if I drive unbuckled. Is this standard or has someone fiddled with MES and turned the beep off?
