Hi everyone, I don’t know if anyone can help me with this but today I’ve been driving my 1.2 2003 Stilo and while I have been driving the computer has been resetting causing my rev counter and speedometer to reset too. So far when this happens, the steering doesn’t lock up and I can still accelerate and brake normally, lights are working fine and I still have power to my radio. I’m thinking a loose connection but wouldn’t know where to check first as I’m not very mechanic savvy.

Thank you in advanced.

There's probably a loose connector block on the back of the instrument cluster which seem to be a contender for coming loose, so that's one to check.

There's also a fuse that keeps the console powered (F53 I think, in the fusebox under your knee) so take that out and make sure it's clean and tight.

If the instrument cluste starts staying off for longer periods and then doesn't work at all, then it may also be a fault with the instrument cluster itself. Yellowstilo on here can fix cluster problems for not much... but check the connectors first.
