Hi everyone,

Recently I bought my first car, Fiat Stilo Hatchback 06' 1.9jtd 88kw(120hp) model. The car is running fine, although I have a problem starting it. In the morning, I have to turn the key for at least 5 seconds for the engine to start. When the engine goes to its operating temperature, I can easily start it. I can get a clean start in the morning only if I heat the glow plugs 4 times and then start the engine. I'm facing this problem in the summer, when the temperature in the morning goes up to 20 C, and I don't want to know what's going to happen in the winter if I'm not going to find the problem. I was thinking about changing the glow plugs, but if anyone had a similar problem, it would be nice to hear out how you've dealt with it. Thanks in advance!

I would replace the plugs.

Happened to my last 1.9 multijet 150, didn't take as long to start but it did cough a little when cold, was much better with new plugs.
