Ok so heres the problem, I've bought the car about less then a year ago, immediately changed the whole clutch set, but the pedal was still dropping to the floor, not at all times mostly when I'd drive it for maybe half an hour, and it drops only when in gear, when it's not the pedal works normally. Now I've changed both hydraulic cylinders and bled the system, but the problem wasn't fixed. Also now it started to whine when the pedal is pushed, and when it releases... Can someone please help??!

The slave cylinder is on the outside of the gearbox, like I said I've changed both cylinders. And a new release bearing was put on when I changed the whole clutch, you know when I'm already there why not change that too..

is a bit confusing:

you are driving in gear, and the clutch pedal moves (slowly/fast?) to the floor...and you are still driving?
If so, if you knock the gear level into neutral, does the pedal rise again? You say the pedal is fine in neutral but how does it become fine again?

Is there any sign of clutch fluid on the ground? Does the level in the reservoir drop?

Did you bleed it with an Eazi-Bleed type pressure kit? I read that overdoing the pressure can flip seals the wrong way (which could explain your symptoms)

Yes.. good that you changed the whole thing.

If you had not changed the clutch at all, I would say that this sounds like a slave cylinder problem. The soft pedal is a duff seal and the whining when you press the pedal is the clutch not releasing properly.

I would bleed the clutch system again, using the pedal rather than a pressure bleeder.. but instead of pushing the pedal to the floor each time, just give it a few short pumps, just a few centimetres of pedal travel... then tighten the bleed screw.. Pause.. then open the bleed screw and repeat a few times.

If that doesn't make any difference, get the old slave out of the bin and re-fit it, see if that changes anything at all.

If it's not the slave then something could be affecting the master... but that has less work to do (it has a slave, after all.. :D ) so it's less likely to have a problem.

But it's a hydraulic problem rather than mechanical, so you don't have to dismantle the clutch again (yet).

When I'm driveing and I need to switch the gear I press the pedal and it stays down. It doesn't slowly drop down by it self in the middle of driving. No, there is not any visible fluid spill, and the reservoir is always full, and we bled it out using the valve and the pedal pumping. I honestly don't know what to do anymore...

[Forgive me clarifying things, it might not even help me, but may help someone else reading the thread]

ok, but how does the pedal return to the up position? Do you lift it with your foot/hand? If so does it freely rise, or is it like pushing fluid through a small hole?

When the problem happens does the clutch actually release, or does the car stay in gear?

Is the whine during the pedal push, or is it whining when the pedal has reached the end of travel also?

It sometimes rises by itself but very slowly like it's sticking, mostly I lift it with my foot but it does switch the gear and the whining is both when pushed down and when it lifts
