A workmate of mine bought a 52 plate 1.6 Stilo from Fiat at Derby and after only 2 weeks he found that the air con didn't work so he took it back to be fixed.

They changed a fractured pipe and re-gassed it and 2 days later it had ceased to function again so he took it back again.

He got a phone call telling him that the heat exchanger radiator had a hole in it and it wasn't covered under the warranty and it would cost him silly money to repair.

After some exchange of words they told him that they were not prepared to put it right under the warranty so he simply told them to contact the finance company and tell them to come and collect THIER car as he would not be making any payments on it and that he didn't want anything more to do with the car.

Strangely they then immediately agreed to fix it under warranty

Well, that just about sums up the "we suck" attitude of the incompetents at Sunwin Fiat Derby and yet anothe reason as to why I avoid the place with a 20ft bargepole.

JCS Kegworth, by comparison, have been like a breath of fresh air so far.

Same reason (and other reasons) why my Punto is no longer going to Derby but will be going to JCS in future
