Hi all,

I have a 1.6 2002 manual Stilo with 127k on the clock. Just had the gearbox replaced and it was running fine apart from the dreaded Airbag Failure Stop Engine.

Most of my mileage is done on the motorway and two days ago when i just finished a 30 mile trip the car was shaking a lot on idle. ive noticed it shake a few times in the past but not like this. The next day started it up no shake seemed fine...

Was travelling down the motorway at 80mph and mid trip the car felt like it hesitated and the engine management light came on for a few seconds and went off. i slowed to 60 and finshed my journey. plugged it into my mates code reader and codes P0101 P0105 P0303 AND P0300 came up. I went to drive it to get new spark plugs and coil and it broke down mid journey. the car will drive but wont stay started without help from the throttle and is really really noisy. ive changed the plugs and no change. all were clean bar one that had a little dirty oil on it.

apart from that running fine with no problems. can anyone please help me diagnose and fix these problems. I dont want to scrap it but after spending nearly 400 on gearbox i might just cut my losses:bang:

Some of those codes could be old spurious ones so I'd suggest starting with a clean slate and clearing them all, and rescan the car again after a decent drive. Any codes found then would be the ones to work off.
