Fiat Stilo 1.9JTD 2004. Complete climate control failure, no fan and mileometer flashing. Anyone any ideas? todays temp 28degrees, hot and stickey in the car.

No fan doesn't help. Is it no nothing as well or does the screen still illuminate? Have you started with the basics and checked the fuse

The control display panel is completly dead, no controls working i.e. fan speed, air con off / on, temp. range selector --- nothing. Have checked all fuses and relays, all working. Yesterday, Thursday, had a very brief period when the control panel worked fully but when the ignition was turned off and the car restarted some ten minutes later, --no air con or controls. Have also noticed that the mileometer flashes on/off when the air con is down but illuminates normally during the brief period that the air con worked yesterday.

Sounds like a possible loose connection somewhere

Having bought a 2nd hand control panel off ebay, fitted it today (13th June). Problem fixed.
