Can anybody please tell me where the body control module is on a 2006 Stilo JTD? Would i be right in presumming that it is actually the fuse box behind the battery or is there another module somewhere?

Thanks in advance.

Mick

It's the grey box on the back of the dashboard fuse box.

Cheers for that. I will pull it out this weekend an have a look. It appears I have a communication fault between the dash, engine ecu and body module. Not sure where to start really but the body control module sounds like a good place to start.

Hello

Do you have any have warning lights to tell you you have a fault with this? Reason I ask is because i've got a warning triangle on my dash that sometimes flickers and dims. I had diagnostics on it and the auto electrician reckons its to with the instrument cluster or the ecu module.

Thanks

Phil

Hi Phil.

The speedo does not work. The rev counter does not work and the temp gauge doesn't work. The temp light is on and the oil light is on. When I bought it there were lots of other lights on an the fuel gauge didn't work. I removed the fuse box under the bonnet, cleaned it and replaced a couple of fuses tat ha gone green. I rebuilt it and did the proxi alignment and the fuel gauge started working and some of the warning lights went out.
The car had been sat for 12 months when I bought it and I don't know if the faults have occurred since then or if they were there before.
I have tried another instrument cluster but it's from a 2003 and that doesn't cure the speedo or rev counter etc.
The FiatECUscan comes up with CAN communication fault and when you erase it the faults logs again straight away.
