Anyone see Fifth Gear tonight on five? Liked the Tiff section on ESP, ABS and traction control. I wonder how well the Stilo would have done? There was a car overtuned on the M25 tonight on the way back home through Kent, didn't look like that had ESP....just hope the drive was alright, looked pretty nasty in the middle lane on its roof.

There was a member on here a while back who crashed his Stilo big time on the motorway - at the time, we asked him whether the ESP helped, lol...

If your a panic driver when you get into trouble ESP/ABS/Traction control is invaluable! You've all seen that person screaming down the middle lane of the motorway with the front tyres locked up for 500 metres!

If your a good driver all those things ain't that important, and can be a pain tbh!

I remember last Christmas on here, all the folk be-moaning about their traction control making it impossible to drive on slippy roads!

I must admit I don't think too much of the EBA (emergency brake assist) particularly pulling up to roundabouts quickly & late braking there always seems to be a slight delay from the throttle when you put the power back on. :bang:
