well i hope that title got your attention ::ROFLMAO: :lmao

basically i think estella's bottom looks a bit "wrong" around the wheels. it just doesnt look right. i dont know if this is because the wheels are too wide or because the rear bumper is too high.

what do you guys think? i dont think its very obvious in pictures though, but those of you with silly big wheels may understand

im toying with the idea of getting on of the rear skirts to lower the bumper a little and sort this out.

something like THIS

Oh, man I was really worried there. Would he go all leather with a whip or similiar.

Anyway, this problem disappeared for me after the Eibach kit was mounted. Have 215 mm wide (215/45R17) tires myself.

Makes all the different to the back end :D

Lowered 40mm and skirts = CRUNCH !!!.. I had it all the time with mine and would never do it again on a car with the roads as they are with pot holes and speed bumps every where..(n) Koe's car now owned by dogsie also had the same problem and I know it pi$$ed Koe off a lot because he told me just that ..

It is a nightmare, my list of no-go car parks, pub/restaurant car parks, retail parks and roads is slowly growing longer and longer. When I read posts by others that they have, or want, to lower theirs by 50mm+ then I cringe - must be nice to own a driveway ornament

Thankyou for giving an honest opinion..quite refreshing on here..(y)

..the other major headache (and probably the most important one) is the no-go list increases beyond belief if there's more than 2 adults in the car!

I've seriously thought about changing the height back to standard :(

I've seriously thought about changing the height back to standard :(

I wouldn't drop mine because of the problems it would create..when you alter the ride high you create problems like tracking for one ..we know the problems that already exist with the stilo with regards to camber problems and fiats poor design not having it adjustable..(n) and although you can buy camber bolts to sort that out you have to think is it really worth the hassle ..after all we are driving on roads and not tracks ..I personally think that the stilo does benefit from a strut brace but unfortunately its a problem on some of the 2.4's fitting one..also a decent set of GAS suspension shocks and not oil filled ones will help to curb the body roll on the stilo a little ..once again I have found that the use of competition shocks can be bone shaking while they do the job exceptionally well if you do tracks..swings and roundabouts when you come down to it and one for the individual to contemplate before taking the plunge

I think I might be the only person who HAS reverted to standard height.

Been like that about a year now and I rate it as one of the best things I've done to my Stilo. Even now, it still feels great to be able to go off road a little with minimal concern and be able to smash into potholes and the like without worrying about an almighty crash as you ground

Also, because the car is easier to live with, you tend to feel a lot better about the car too (y)

The handling and roll issue (worst I think on the 5 door) is something I've learnt to live by changing driving style  (OK, not by much :))

Don't get me wrong, I love the car, love driving it, it's a lot of fun, always gets admiring (or inquisitive) looks off other drivers and with all the 'toys' it's a lot of car for what I paid. But I'm glad we have her the car too.

:ROFLMAO: I've been doing 'that' - as in including the link in posts - for a while now and you're the first person to spot it.
Holy smoke Dogs - you need to issue a stroke rate warning :p:devil::worship:

Lol - I was just thinking what the hell is there a dictionary look up on 'her' for  but Phil beat me to it.
