OK did not have a chance to check in the manual this morning in the rush to work but I noticed when backing the Mrs Stilo out the Stereo face is asking for the M-Code? I have a 4-digit code for it - entered guessing how to and all the stereo did was say WAIT and counted down 2 mins then asked for it again? Neve r asked for it before? Any ideas? :confused:

OK firstly I've no idea why the stereo all of a sudden wants the Radio Code?
I've not cut the battery power and have been using it regularly until now?
In fact when I did change the battery a few months ago I did not need to enter the code then?! Anyway as stated I've read how to enter the code and I do have the 'Audio/Navigation System Passport' thingy with the car Docs with a 4-digot code but the darn thing still does not accept it?!!
HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The unit is the original factory jobbie with the 5-disc CD changer in the Glove-box. The system Passport booklet is Blaupunkt? Car is an early 2002 3-Door?
Where I can get this reset?

Dear me Bozzy, still having dealer problems? Radio internal fault isn't anything to do with Fiat though.

Nello, Pull out the radio and get the serial number then put it up here and someone should be able to check the radio code for that unit, see if corresponds with the number you have. If the programmable chip has lost the original code completely then there are loads of radio places as well as Fiat that will unlock the radio

Obviously, disconnecting the radio will cause it to lose the code check but a voltage spike might erase the chip memory too

This is the SN in the Audio Passport withe the car Docs:
SN = BP915024329105

Though that listed under a piccy of the CD changer?

Name and shame! Tell us the dealer and why you think they are crap, might help someone else. A fault is only a problem if someone can't fix it.

Decks, I was holding back on this until I got a phonecall from the dealer. Well, I just got it. He says the drop links need changing (knocking noise). They are doing it now so if it stops the knocking I will report it as a job well done, if not I will name & shame.
