Is it mine or is it common that when you wash a multiwagon there is still have the foam under the tailgait when you open the boot?

Re: Multiwagon - tailgait

It happens with mine, must be a common fault. Make sure the drain holes are`clear, as they do have a tendancy to block up veru quickly.

where are the drain holes?

I normally open it up after washing and give it a wipe over to flick out the residue soap and dry it off with some kitchen towel.

Re: Multiwagon - tailgait

They are towrads the back edge of the ledge, between the veins...they are quite small almost eliptical holes, if blocked they coujld easily be missed.

The rear bumper being plastic won't rust, ok you may get some items wet if you load/ unload the car but it makes a really good wash tray for wetting the sponge for the window cleaners at traffic lights:D

Yeah this problem occurs with my MW. I also park mine under a tree and the amount of tree debris that gets into that space is amazing. The area where the foam collects responds very nicely to some cockpit shine if it has become dull or scratched
