my first suggestion is i believ it would be a good idea to reclassify the classifieds.

ie put a classified section in each of the model sections or a link to the relavent classified section.

but to still leave general classifieds and non model specific classifieds in the main classified section.

second idea.

i also believe that where there is the page on forum rules and the infraction system thet there should be a brief explanation of each infraction, e.g. spamming multiple reposts of a topic ormultiple off topic posts within a thread.

what i mean is. unless you either already know or ask a mod then how are you meant to find out what trolling is etc.

as most of these are down to opinion ie some more sensitive members could find something easily offensive when some thicker skinned members couldnt see what the fuss is about.

wouldnt it perhaps be a good idea to put a brief definition beside each one.

edit: just found the perfect example ie what is an FAO thread?

custard you put far too much faith in wikipedia.

plus look at it this way if you had an explanation beside the infractions. then you and other members or mods wouldnt have to post links, type an explanation etc everytime

im just suggesting it may be an idea to put a definition with the list of infractions to avoid confusion.
 
infraction this, infraction that, sick of hearing about it!

no one is too bothered about what they mean, only those who get them all the time are concerned.

If the definitions were indeed given, you would see a lot more posts which would be 'borderline'

i see where your coming from.

what i mean is for example i had no idea when i first joined what flaming was untill i got infracted for it and told. basically i think it would make it easier for newer members.

any how another idea.


i think it would be a good idea to have an update system for groups you are part of to tell you when someone has posted within it.

i think some funny rules like no eating rabbits and bragging about it looking like binki may be good

the groups list shows the most recent posts
you only have to click on groups from your quick links to check
