"New Posts" More Like Active Topics

Ok, well the main grudge i have with the new forum is that we have lost the active topics and the new posts doesnt come close to comparing

However, if the subsections (all the general/technical/styling sections) were renamed with the car in the title (eg; Cinq/Sei Technical) then it would help alot, as you can scan through the new posts and see if a post has been made in a section relevant to you, this is assuming it would be very hard if not nigh impossible to replicate the old forums active topics page (sorted by sections)

thats doing my nut in aswell just says fiat forum > technical or styling or general on posts if you use new posts dont say what section ie punto cento etc..
it would help if it coulb be changed

I'll add my vote to it, would be a lot easier that way, with sub secitons named per specific car.

why not just go into each individual section

Already looking into it, shouldn't be too hard.. but as i said, can't modify anything until the vB team fix the PM's...

I prefer it as it is. It may make the quieter sections a bit more active.

Cool, no probs.

I realy like the new layout and i think Ben deserves a drink from everyone at skegie for the good job he does. The smilie thing was the only thing i had a prob with. Keep up the good work Ben

Same here Steve, one of the good things about 'New Posts' - at first I hate the removal of the updating Active Topics, but it has really grown on me. Hopefully a lot more people posting across the whole forum

The overall feel is that this is a much more professional forum. It will take a while to get used to it, but it's definitely an improvment!

I think i have to disagree there, Problem is in regards to the technical sections, makes it harder for people to advise in areas in which they could otherwise help in. doesnt it effectively defeat the point of having seperate sections if we keep it how it is?
