Ok, well the main grudge i have with the new forum is that we have lost the active topics and the new posts doesnt come close to comparing

However, if the subsections (all the general/technical/styling sections) were renamed with the car in the title (eg; Cinq/Sei Technical) then it would help alot, as you can scan through the new posts and see if a post has been made in a section relevant to you, this is assuming it would be very hard if not nigh impossible to replicate the old forums active topics page (sorted by sections)

hope this makes some sense to someone :$

Cheers,
Alex

originally i thought this new posts thing was good (apart from the technical posts issue). i now think it is crap. i hate it.

if you don't come on here for 2 days you have 6 pages plus to trawl through!!

active topics used to just be one page and you could simply scroll to the sections you wanted to look at. hmm..disappointed.

Surely if you logged onto to old forum after 6 days, active topics would have still been massive, whether sorted by forums or as last post.

You can always go into each individual forum in turn, i.e. LL, then see the unread topics in that forum. They are they 'bold' ones, which only go back to normal once read.

Personally, I don't see it is a big issue :)

I like the way you get all the posts that have been made in the time your not there kinda thing cus you dont have to lok through all of them but if u want to its easy.

I just dislike the general/technical/styling thing because you dont know what car its about. Alot of people who know things about their own model would know nothing about someone elses... it just means it takes longer for people to get the info they need.
