I went in the car wash without removing my aerial today and yes you guess correctly, it bloody snapped off.

How do I remove the interior light on a Punto 60S (the basic one) please so I can get to the fixings.

And what type of aerial do I need to replace.

thanks
Widdy

I don't think you have to, the aerial fixing can be removed from outside the car. There's a plastic bit on it that prises off to reveal the screw (or might be a bolt, I forget) that holds it on.

If you do need to get the interior light out I believe a scewdriver also does the trick if I remember correctly!

I took the bulb out and a little plastic screw is seen, undid that and still the interior light wouldn't move.

Prise off the screw covers and unscrew the screws :D I was going to fit a grid of white LEDs in mine where the sunroof switch would be to make the interior light brighter, but decided it'd actually look s***e so didn't do it ;)

Just remembered, that only applies to SX and above. Haven't a clue about the S, sorry!

Sorry then, maybe I was wrong. Might have been the uno where I just levered the whole lot out with a screwdriver!

Dont worry did exactly the same thing the other day. Serves me right for being lazy and taking through a car wash!

When i bought my car it had been snapped off - got it home and my brother super glued it back on - the radio seems to work fine still. :p

Well its fixed now, the local auto electrician managed to get a Fiat Original aerial for me and was only £20 fixed. Was going to be monday, but hey I am not complaining.
