Rather than asking for what the best security devices are does anyone have any experiences where someone attempted to take your car but could not?

I agree the high price alarms/other devices must be better than the low price ones so just trying to see what worked for you

Depends what you define as better

I'm using alarms in all our cars which have never cost more than £35 each! No problems, easy to fix, and TBH, I think it will put most theifs off.

Well perhaps not better but was just wondering if the people that did install an additional alarm or immobiliser if it did work or not.

Or maybe just a flashing LED would work hehe?

Well mine works ok, and even operates the central locking to make it remote.
