hi all again, my temperature gauge gets to exactly half way, then thats where it stays, is that right? or should it go higher, thanks. roger

Morning Red Diesel,

Happen thats about right, it where mine sits, half way up the dial. Mine warms up enough for the heater in about 3-4 mile, thought hot air is only achieved after about 9-10 mile, thats in winter motoring with minus 4-5 degrees. No problem in warmer conditions..........

Take care, Qube O. ;);)

You would think that if you are not getting enough heat in the car, it can only be one of two things.
A) The thermostat opening to soon, and not allowing the water to get hotter.
B) The heater matrix, could be a slight air lock

When the Vauxhall Nova was first put on the market, they advised in the hand book to change thermostat and gave part No., for those in colder climates.

cheers Ian

Re: Qubo 1.3 16v Multijet

Does anyone know if a aftermarket k&n type air filter would be a good upgrade to the standard air filter? And if anything needs to be done as regards to re-mapping/
luigi

Hi Luigi,
Bearing in mind the cost of the K&N filters I doubt if it would be financially worthwhile. You could probably get 10 years worth of the standard Fiat kit for the price of 1, bearing in mind that the Air Filter is only replaced every so many years.........

That said, the K&N is a brilliant filter. Though would the Fiat Tecs actually clean it out, and refit, when servicing your car ??

Good question, I look forward to other peoples thoughts.....

Take care, Qube O :confused::confused:
