(T) What car was this engine used in?

I have a 1996 mk1 90elx 1.6 8v punto cabrio, the cam belt snapped the other day and I am either looking to replace the head (specialist co say the head is knackered) or a complete engine. My question is was this engine used in any other fiats, presume the std 90elx, but was it in any others. Or does someone have a spare head?

all 90s and early sportings. why not find a 1.2 16v donor car though and put that lump in its much better than the 1.6 8v clonka

how easily will the 1.2 16v fit? won't I need to change the ecu and things. Unfortunately I don't have the time to do this, apart from that the car is currently 100 miles from where I am and I'm paying someone to fit the engine so need an easy job as possible to keep the costs down.

To be honest dave, with a little TLC and some nice treats like a BMC CDA induction kit the 1.6 8v is a cracking engine. I love it and Ive had no problems at all since I brought it which was over a year ago. Overall thumbs up
