Just picked up another cabrio, 2000 with 72,000 Mls, all 3 keys, few scratches and small dents no rust anywhere, Inside is not as clean as my 99 but the body is better. Engine and box is sweet, I intend to make one good one out of the 2. Came with all the original books etc. Roof is only OK much the same as the 99.Even the time clock is working! I'll put up a few pics tomorrow hopefully. Happy enough for €975.

How many have the hood cover? I was under the impression that they came with them but on looking through the owners manual today I came across the "ERRATA" sheet that was just loose in the book. Obviously it was an option, I wonder how much it cost first day? Judging by the text, people must have been looking for it from day one.

Ah thats weird, my manual says about always ensuring you attach the hood cover when its folded so assumed they all came with it... My car also doesn't have a hood cover though either... I've only seen a few on eBay in the past year that still have a hood cover

I assumed that as well, I wonder is that why they printed the ERRATA supplement for the manual. The one I bought last December had the cover. I have heard they make good money! Not for sale anyway.
