TDC sensor removal

Hi all,

I have a problem trying to remove the TDC sensor on my 1995 1.1 SX Punto, in order to replace the fanbelt. I can see one 10mm bolt at the plug side of the sensor but nothing else. Are there more bolts etc? I may be missing another bolt because when I remove this bolt the sensor wont budge. Also the plug doesn't seem to want to come off either (not that this matters much for fanbelt renewal).

Thanks in advance for any help.

Thank you for your reply Dave.

I inspected the pulley hub tonight with a torch and mirror, and I can see that pin and the three bolts. Removing the pulley after slackening off the fan belt seems like the right way to go. I'll give it a bash tomorrow.

Thx Dave.

I managed to get that sensor out with the help of my brother, so I didnt need go down the pulley removal route after all.

My brother assisted me by pulling on the sensor and I had enough room to lever it out with a terminal screwdriver on the sensor flange.

New fan belt fitted no problem.

Thanks again for your help.
