So in addition to my previous thread where the centre console electric stopped working, now all of a sudden there is a complete loss of power.

When driving the steering wheel was shaking, when moving past about 40 even at low speeds. Then all of a sudden there was a loss of power. Driving at 60, foot on the accelerator and the speed was dropping.

When I switched off the car, for a few seconds the car seemed to keep on running but with a sort of helicopter sound.

Could it be a misfire? Something else? Any ideas?

Any help really appreciated.

Misfire seems most likely (remove the air filter housing, run the car in the darl, look for blue flashes from plug leads, etc. If nothing obvious, remove one plug lead at a time -- any lead/plug/coil combination which slows the engine down (or causes it to stall) is good.

Helicopter noise is odd, though.

Thanks for your help. Is it likely to be coil pack or something else?

Not sure if there is a common fault on these...?

I would also check the vacuum pipe from the inlet to the box near the bulkhead. I believe this is absolute pressure sensor. I managed to break the pipe while changing the spark plugs and the car was running badly. I thought I connected the leads the wrong way around. The felt like is running on 2 cylinders.
