Now, if you would like to upload a picture to the forum there is a few ways to do so.

Through the Gallery is a good option, donated members have unlimited gallery space to upload pictures and you can create albums to keep all your pics organised. I'll post another way to post pics in the following post.

First off, click on the Gallery icon link from the top menu bar.

then click on 'Upload Photos'

You then see a page showing your disc usage/allowance.
Here you can choose the picture(s) to upload, create albums, etc -
nothing too complicated. Once you select a photo(s) don't press 'upload/submit' yet - you will see the photo(s) upload, each with its own process bar. Wait until all files have uploaded and then press 'upload/submit'. Please note some browsers report I/O error during upload. Ignore warnings and press button when files are finished uploading - it will work.

On this page you can edit further details of each photo, the title and other settings:

Once uploaded (and for any picture in gallery) you will see the page below. The part circled in red is the part you need to copy if you want to post that image in a thread/post.

You can also 'attach' images to a post instead of using the gallery. By attaching a picture it is uploaded to the forum rather than linking to an external picture on another website - this means that the photo will ALWAYS be there and will never become a broken pic link. If you link externally and the image gets moved or the webpage is removed etc the image will no longer show on your post (n)

To attach pictures you cannot use the quick reply on a post, you will need to click 'reply' followed by 'go advanced' or just 'new reply on the left hand side. Starting a new thread takes you straight to this screen.

Once on the reply screen, scroll down to the 'additional options' section and click 'manage attachements'

The attachments box will popup which looks like this

Click the top 'choose file' button and navigate on your computer to where the image(s) are saved.

You can select upto 5 at once to upload (or a single image from a website, no screenshot for this but go to the image online, right click & select 'copy image url' then paste it into the 'upload file from a url' box and click upload)

When you have finished uploading all the pictures, click 'close this window'

You are now back at the normal reply/new post screen where you can write your post as usual.

After that you can just press post, the attached pics will all be added to a box at the bottom of the post.

If however, you wish to intersperse your pictures throughout the post you need to 'insert' them.
Add some text and then where you want a picture inserted, click the little paperclip at the top, and select which image you wish to add
attachments08.png

Continue writing the rest of your post and inserting pictures where you want them..
(NOTE: If you do not insert all pictures the box showing attachments at the bottom of the post will still show, if you insert all pics the box does now show)
You can see each time you insert a picture in puts some BBCode into your post, this will show as the picture when you post.

I suggest at this point you select all the text and copy it incase there is an error posting or you will have to rewrite and insert all the pics again (very annoying!)

Then if you wish to be sure you got all the pics in the right place press 'preview post'

Assuming everything is ok press 'submit reply' and you are done.
