Hi All,

I'm new to this list haveing just bought a 1994 Punto 75SX, mainly for my wifes use. The car was an accident damaged repaired job with 38,000 miles on it which I got for £820. It has had a new n/s wing fitted and the door repaired (not very well) but otherwise is in very good condition.
I managed to contact the previous owner and found it's history and he is sending me the Owners Handbook but I haven't got it yet. I will be buying a Haynes manual as well.
In the meantime, can anyone tell me what the service intervals are and at what miles the cambelt should be changed[?]

Oh and it also has a non matching wheel trim on that side - anyone got a spare[?]

I think the Fiat recommendation is for the cam belt to be chaged at 40,000 miles. The service reccomendation for it to be changed is 75,000 I think.

I'm sitting at 43,000 miles and will be getting mine done at some point this year. Its not worth the risk of it snapping!

Thanks for that. I'd intended to carry out a major service at 40,000 miles anyway and since I don't know if the belt has been changed I'll change it anyway. As you say it's not worth the risk.:)
