help required with this i have done the cylinder head gasket on it but got the ht lead mixed up can some one tell me which way they go plz its the electronic type with 2 coils

help need this out of way quick

no hi,no hello,not so much as a please :shakehead

coil towards the front of the car is cylinder 2 and 3
coil towards the back of the car cylinder 1 and 4
as shown below

make sure you have the plugs to the coils the right way round thou i dont think it's posible to get them wrong

yes but does it matter which way round each pait go ie 1 swapped with4 or 2 swapped with 3 as it operates on a wasted spark system,thanks

Hi Guys,
I have just joined this Forum as i have just bought a Punto for my son.
As you do with anew car you change everything that you can to make sure you start on a good foot.
Unfortunatey my lovely son changed the HT leads, in the dark, without making not of the positions of the originals.
I stmbled across this post and wondered whether the coil poitions are the same for all 1.2 8v Mk2 Punto's?
