Please help when turning steering to full lock the amber warning triangle comes on with the fuel shutoff not available message coming on. Take off full steering message goes and when turning off and on again so does warning light. Sometimes the amber engine light comes on as well. I replaced the battery a week ago and it felt like a different car and the messages didn't come up as much and the car felt totally different and sounded a lot better. A week later and it has gone back to the same as before any ideas thanks

Hi. You may have a poor earth connection..
But the PAS uses LOTS of power..
And is obviously struggling... so you
Potentially have a charging issue.
Get the battery voltage checked..12 volts minimum
Then start engine.. check again.. should be 14 volts minimum.
Idea:-
Do you have start:stop..?
Does it work??
Did you get a startstop type battery....

Maybe....
Charge OLD BATTERY..
Put it on car..
See if it behaves for a few days again.
Then it is DEFINITELY a 12 volt supply issue.
Hi haven't got old battery but had it tested in front of me at garage and it was all good before I got them to swap it. I only got them to change it as process of elimination to see if it did the same with a new battery and what do you know lol!.
Have you got access to a volt meter?
