Hi all.

I have a 2013 Punto GBT 1.4

I have been having some issues with my car on ignition. It’s a bit jumpy, juddery on initial start up. When running it’s fine. However when stopped in traffic etc it can start to judder again.
Occasionally the engine warning light comes on.

Now, I’m not great with vehicles. I have so far managed to do a air filter change (I know very basic ;-) and then I’ve advanced myself and managed to do an oil and filter change. I also have cleaned the throttle body.

On my last service I asked garage to change all spark plugs. This does not seem to have solved issue.

I’ve bought a OBD code reader and engine is misfiring. Cyclinder 2 and or random cyclinder.

Codes

P0300 and a P0302

I’m thinking it’s the coil pack that needs changing. Might I be correct?

I would like to attempt to do this myself.

So if you experience punto owners could offer me advise.

Where is the best place to buy a Genuine punto coil pack? Also which one would I need?

What sort of tools would I need? Anything else I would need to consider?

I’m sure I could do this myself, it will help me understand my car more and give me the confidence to undertake basic maintenance and I don’t really want to pay garage costs when the job is not that big.

I’ve got a manual and had a look on this forum and watching a bit of you tube to try and get some research before I attempt to carry out the work.

Anyway, thanks in advance for your help.

If there is anything else you would need to know, then please ask.

Ta
