i got my mk 2 punto lowered a little while ago (40mm),and now the leftide seems to be sittin about 1cm higher than the right,could there be a problem with the fitting of the springs or could it be something to do with the drive its parked on?

For starters park it somewhere else and look again. It could be that they aren't fitted properly or that springs are uneven (in case you got second hand ones). How much have you driven it after lowering?

ive checked on a low surface and the left side is definately higher.the springs were brand new.i do not have my license yet so my dad has only driven it about 10 miles.

I have this problem on my mk1 75sx, the Offside is sitting higher than the nearside. got it in at work and had a look at it, found out its just a weak shock on the nearside so thats sitting lower, making the offside seem higher! hope this helps
