I though'd you'd changed coils??/

if the other coils were from a scrappy they were probably duff (most cars in yards have their bonnets left open, so anything electrical is wrecked in a matter of a few days).

I think we need a sticky topic for overheating and headgasket problems and coil problems, as I'm fed up of continously seeing topics about it:bang:

punto's are reliable cars, just most of them don't get things changed when they should (h'gasket and cam belt at 60k etc, I know this car has done less, but its odd, if its lived in th city, that would probably explain it! my car lived in the country the first 6years of its life, so it was a minter! now its been in city for 1year its almost wrecked!!!!:mad: )
 
ive got a similar sort of problem my coolant goes down quickly radiator fan don't come on and im find water in the the throttle body the small breather hose as got a small split in it havent got eggy smell or mayo on the oil filler cap ( hate that thing a push in thing)

You'd better off starting your own thread, I think -- this one hasn't been 'alive' for eight years...! :idea:

Hi'.. it couid be head gasket failure..

Have a 'pressure test/compression test done..
