When ever I pull away in first the car seems to really judder quite badly. Tried giving it loads of revs, and little revs and it still judders. Tried doing it slowly and fast and it stil judders.

It does not do it in second when I pull away.

Any ideas?

Mine used to do that too. Mates dad thought it might be a clutch spring broken. Mechanic said that it might be water leaking from my core plug getting on the surfaces.

He replaced the clutch and said all that he could find wrong with it was the release bearing was stuck on the release mechanism.

The new clutch solved it but there was an occasion where it came back, but only for one pull away.

mk1 puntos suffer from clutch issues sometimes one of the symptons is a juddering when pulling away i am on me 4th clutch lol. anyway replacing clutch and if not replacing clutch and cleaning/replacing flywheel should sort it. first two time i got clutch done and it came back in few months last time i went whole hog clutch and flywheel this cure it for abot 11 months i noticed a couple of times recently it has started to creep back.
