Right start of the week my 6x9's arent working, i get them fixed. 10 minutes later my driver seat collapses. two days afta i buy pair of new seats. fitted them yesterday took the old seats to the dump and my car cuts out and then found out theres something wrong with timing belt. is this bad? its just one thing after the other. i cant win.

no worries and no big problem.
its a safe engine as in the two engine halves dont strike when the belt goes.
are you doing the work yourself or garage?

As long as i havent killed the car as i need it for at least 3 more months b4 i get a new un. definatly garage as swapping the seats was hard enough for me. lol. how much do reckon it will approx cost?

havent a clue,car see's a garage for the MOT and i do the rest.
best get the water pump abd cambelt tensioer done at the same time.
head may need skimmed as well.
probably hit you for near £200 i would guess

my dads gonna ask around, as he drives around a lot. only thing is my car is about 5/6 miles away, cus my brake pedal has locked up, cus i cant turn the engine on. so i cant tow it. is there anyway of unblocking them so i can get it home. i dont wanna pay for someone to pick it up.

did this happen at the same time?front or rear?

what it is when the engines not running and you push the brake pedal. the pedal starts jamming up. that wats happened.

wouldnt recommend towing on that.all you can do is jack up the wheels to find which wheel(s) jamming
