there are LED's you can get on ebay for em, coz i was looking at a set with diffrent LED's included in em, it said they needed soldering up and things.

im just going with the old lockwood dials i fink, nothing too fancy, i am mk1 btw :slayer:

I might have to go to a customs place in middlesbrough or stockton that can do ti for me i dont thnik have tiem for soldering and all that stuff

Well if its jus a different colour dhwigston does it, so it might be worth getting some quotes, i want to change mine too for sure :)

lol, i dont think he is on often but i PMd him and it goes to his email account aswel so that might get his attention. I think you have to advance warn him like 10 days before you want it doing as the bulbs come from germany i think ;)

their called wide angle LED's, as a normal led would burn your eyes out when its dark(n)

I did it to the volvo (a bit fruitless as I just sold it to a german girl!!) cost me £12 for the wide leds (from american volvo forum) and the little resistors to protect them, they were already soldered up into little circuits, all i needed to do was plug the led in the whole, and solder the connecting wires up to the little circuit, then tape it all to the back of the console with electrical tape so it doesn't catch fire:devil:

looks mint!! but too bright to be honest! personally I'm a fan of saabs, where theres a 'night panel' button (fighter jet inspired) which turns the lamps on the whole dash and speedo console out, AND the dials all go back to rest (off position) just leaving the speedo and back light for speedo only! mint idea and I use it all the time as it reduces glare and keeps your concentration up!!

if you've got a MK1 theres a guy on ebay that sell plasma dials on eBay, for about the same price as lockwoods, they are pretty cool, i emailed him about getitng mk2's done but he had a stroke or something and is going to stop omporting them. that was about 2 months ago......
